Many tasks are involved in keeping up a building’s lighting systems, such as cleaning, repair work, replacement, calibration, and even painting. The Budd Group’s lighting system maintenance includes the following procedures:
Light Emitting Diode (LED) lights are by far the most energy-efficient option for lighting any facility, helping to keep costs low.
A poorly-lit facility creates numerous safety hazards in the workplace due to decreased visibility. Poor lighting can also harm a business’s reputation, decrease worker morale and productivity, and increase energy costs over time.
There is no limit to how often you can check on your facility’s lighting, but a good rule of thumb is to examine these lights professionally at least once a year. Emergency lighting systems should be assessed every 30 days and once annually.
